Grandparents Rock On! (and not on rocking chairs!) Families are the focus at Susan♪s Kindermusik of Thunder Bay - singing, dancing, playing instruments and making musical memories! We celebrate the wonderful bond shared between grandparents and their grandchildren who make a fun date of coming to Susan♪s every week. Be inspired and touched by some of their heartfelt stories!
Debbie Escott, Grandma of Gabe Kindermusik with Susan is a gift that I give to myself and to my grandson, Gabriel. It is our special time each week. It is so fascinating to watch Gabe responding to the music, and socializing with his classmates and teacher. Susan is a natural teacher who is able to communicate with her students at their own levels, inviting the musicians within them to sing and dance.
Being a grandparent is a high ground advantage over being a parent because it is our second time around. We have learned that body, mind, and soul work as one! The happiness and personal safety of our grandchildren are the most important things. Susan♪s develops timing, rhythm, and balance which are the keystones for performing motor skills within a positive environment. Keep up the good work!
Pauline T. Though our 2 year old grand daughter Katie has been enrolled in 3 sessions of the program, this past fall was my first experience as her participating partner and what a joy it was! Within the carefully structured lessons, allowances are made for children to do things in their own way as long as safety issues are met. The teaching materials and music activities are age-appropriate and one sees many smiles and hears much laughing and giggling. Susan is a loving, enthusiastic, encouraging teacher. The children love Miss Susan and her music. You can tell by the way they rush at class end to give her a hug!
At first I just I wanted to do something special for my first grand daughter, Daytona, when she was born. Little did I know how beneficial Kindermusik can be. She is very advanced because of what she has learned from attending. I sponsor their lessons for the education they get, and they have a great time attending. I now bring my second grand daughter, Dalainee, too. This is quality time that Papa gets to share with them, and they love it!
